At Andul Sarbojanin Durgotsab, we believe Durga Puja is a celebration of faith, culture, and unity. Since 1951, Maa Durga has been worshipped here with deep devotion, preserving sacred rituals and traditions. Situated beside the 350+ year-old Shree Shree Siddheswari Dakshina Kali Temple, our puja reflects the rich spiritual heritage of Andul while inspiring future generations to cherish our cultural roots.
Established in 1951, Andul Sarbojanin Durgotsab has become one of the oldest and most renowned Sarodiya Pujas in Andul, Howrah. Our 75th Platinum Jubilee marked a proud milestone in this journey. Over the years, we have received numerous honors, including the Best Durga Pratima award in the Sankrail Thana Anchal during our Platinum Jubilee year, along with multiple Best Idol awards, reflecting our enduring tradition of devotion and excellence.
Our vision is to blend tradition with creativity, making every Durga Puja a memorable experience. Through artistic theme pandals, captivating light, sound, and laser shows, and well-organized celebrations led by our dedicated youth and committee members, we strive to establish Andul Sarbojanin Durgotsab as a leading cultural and spiritual destination.
Our community is the heart of our celebration. Along with organizing the festival, we conduct blood donation camps, cultural programmes, and competitions such as recitation, dance, sit-and-draw, and quizzes. Supported by passionate volunteers and a strong youth team, we work together to preserve culture and strengthen our community throughout the year.
